On Thursday, January 7, 2021, administration shared with the Burgess School Committee 2 important facilities updates. The Town of Sturbridge wrote and was awarded a Green Communities Grant from the Baker/Polito Administration. $ 75,882.00 was awarded for lighting upgrades at Burgess. $71,838.73 was awarded for weatherization upgrades at Burgess. This work was recently completed. We are in the process of working with the Town to secure additional Green Communities Grant funding this year.
