Burgess Has Got Talent Show 2024!
Hello Burgess Families!
We are excited to announce that we will be holding the Burgess Has Talent talent show again this year! As we did last year, there will be one show for students in grades K-3, and one show for students in grades 4-6.
Live Performance Format:
- Parents or Guardian will fill out the form completely. For acts with multiple children, a separate form should be filled out for each child.
- Acts should be no longer than 2 minutes.
- Any act requiring music is responsible for sending the music cut to the correct time in mp3 or mp4 format to corthelld@tantasqua.org
- Every act will be required to attend one rehearsal.
- Each act will be assigned one of the rehearsal dates listed below and a 15-minute rehearsal window. We will do our best to meet everyone’s preferences indicated on the registration form but will fill time slots first come first serve. Acts should be accompanied by a parent/guardian, and will not be able to stay at rehearsal outside of their designated window.
- Two separate performances will be held. Grades K-3 will perform on Wednesday, April 3rd from 6:00 – 7:30 and grades 4-6 will perform on Friday, April 5th from 6:00 – 7:30. *Note* if the number of participants is drastically unbalanced some third or fourth grade acts may be moved to the other show.
- Each show will be live-streamed to the Burgess YouTube channel. This will also post the recording to the channel so family and friends can watch it at any time.
- Each family will be able to purchase tickets to attend the show. The number of tickets allotted to each family will depend on the number of acts. More information about tickets will be sent out to the families of registered acts after the registration deadline.
